Recently, 78-year-old Rob Horton from Denver took a class on how to avoid scams, acknowledging that as an older adult, he is a prime target.
"I know everything has moved really fast,"
said Horton. Older residents are targeted due to their likelihood of owning homes, having good credit, and lacking computer skills compared to younger individuals.
