Gov. DeSantis Appoints Adam Cervera to High School Athletic Association Board of Directors
Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Adam Cervera, a shareholder at Becker & Poliakoff, to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Board of Directors.
I’m excited to help our student athletes reach their full potential, on and off the field.
Cervera, who was named to the Broward County School Board six months ago, will be responsible for hearing appeals, setting budgets, enacting policies, and overseeing statewide athletic competitions. The appointment is pending Senate confirmation.
Cervera expressed his gratitude for the appointment, stating that he believes in the power of sports to shape character and bring communities together.
