Ship Attacked in the Red Sea
A Liberian-flagged cargo ship was attacked by Houthi rebels in the Red Sea, resulting in two crew members being hurt and two others missing.
The attack occurred a day after the Yemen-based rebels sunk another vessel, the Greek-owned bulk carrier Magic Seas, using drones, missiles, rocket-propelled grenades, and small arms fire.
- The crew of 22 was forced to abandon the vessel.
- The two attacks and Israeli airstrikes targeting the rebels raised fears of a renewed Houthi campaign against shipping.
