Brazil and US Start Tariff Reduction Negotiations
Following a meeting at the White House, the Brazilian government believes that negotiations to reduce tariffs have begun effectively.
Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, marking the starting point of serious negotiations to reduce tariffs applied to Brazil.
Members of the Brazilian government and Donald Trump’s administration share the perception that the meeting indicated both sides’ willingness to reach an agreement.
