Public Meeting on PFAS Cleanup
The public is invited to an information session on November 19 to discuss the polyfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS) from the Jack Garland Airport.
The meeting will be held at Best Western from 3 to 8 p.m., where North Bay residents can hear updates on the $20-million cleanup.
- The Department of National Defence and the City of North Bay will co-host the session.
- Subject matter experts will present updates on ongoing studies and remediation efforts.
- A forum will be provided for one-on-one interaction with project teams and experts to address community questions and concerns.
The public can hear the latest project information and updates on the joint efforts to address PFAS.
