Steven Gerrard Declines Return to Rangers
Rangers' search for a new manager continues after Steven Gerrard declined the chance to replace Russell Martin.
Martin, 39, was sacked by Rangers after a poor start to the 25/26 season, with the team currently eighth in the Scottish Premiership table, 11 points off the top.
Steven Gerrard led the club to the Scottish Premiership title in the 20/21 season without losing a match.
Gerrard, the former Liverpool legend, left Ibrox for Aston Villa in November 2021, but was sacked and replaced by Unai Emery after 11 months in charge.
Rangers had turned to Gerrard to reignite the club's season, but he has chosen not to return.
