Ruben Amorim has provided an update on the status of several players ahead of the trip to Liverpool.
- Lisandro Martinez is ruled out due to a knee injury.
- Noussair Mazraoui is doubtful for the game.
Martinez is nearing a return from his injury but is not yet back in full training. Mazraoui has not played since September and was selected for international duty with Morocco but did not feature in recent games.
Amorim will have a strong squad to choose from, but will exercise caution with players who traveled long distances for international duty, such as Casemiro and Matheus Cunha. Captain Bruno Fernandes was granted extra time off after international duty.
