Steelers WR DK Metcalf Offers Blunt Assessment of Controversial Interception
DK Metcalf discussed a critical turnover during the Pittsburgh Steelers' 33-31 loss on Thursday night.
The play occurred when Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers fired a pass toward the left sideline on a second-and-13 from the hosts’ 44-yard line. Metcalf couldn’t get a good grip on it, and a diving DJ Turner II got his right forearm between the ball and Metcalf’s chest, slapping it loose.
Metcalf tried to pull the ball in and peer ahead, but Turner's interception gifted the Cincinnati Bengals momentum nearing halftime.
