Obituary: David Clinton Byers
David Clinton Byers, age 75, passed away in Jonesboro, Ark. He is survived by his wife, Joy Boyette Byers, and their son, David Clinton "Davey" Byers, Jr.
David and Joy were married for 56 years, after tying the knot on June 15, 1969. Their life together was marked by both joy and sorrow, including the accidental death of their 8 1/2 year old son, Bradley Byers, in 1983.
They experienced much pain and sadness, but also had the perfect son, David Clinton “Davey” Byers, Jr., who continues to give them much joy and support.
After retiring 12 years ago, David and Joy moved to Phoenix, Albuquerque, and ultimately Jonesboro, where they were able to spend time with Davey and his wife, Kim.
