The Star Valley High School cross-country teams participated in a time-trial at the Jim Bridger Invitational in southwest Wyoming. The Lady Braves dominated the competition, claiming three of the top five spots.
Gracey Visser led the team with a first-place time of 12:07.51, while Kellsie Dunne, Kylee Linford, Evelyn Scharmann, and Tylita Bond finished between fourth and eighth place. The team scored 21 points, ahead of Jackson's 58 points.
“It was a great race, it’s been a lot of years since we’ve been there,”
coach Ty Draney said, noting the unique start to the race, which featured a Union soldier shooting a musket.
