The Justice Department is moving forward with an expected indictment of President Donald Trump's former national security advisor, John Bolton.
According to multiple sources, the department will present the possible criminal case and seek an indictment by a federal grand jury in Maryland.
Bolton has been accused of sending "highly sensitive" classified documents to his family from a private server while working at the White House, leading to a raid by the Federal Bureau of Investigation at his house and office in August.
At the time, Bolton was not detained and had not been charged with any crimes.
