President Trump Reveals 'Arc de Trump' Project
President Donald Trump has unveiled his latest project to beautify the nation's capital and celebrate America's 250th birthday.
The project involves constructing a grand arch across from the Lincoln Memorial at the entrance of the Arlington Memorial Bridge, resembling Paris's Arc de Triomphe, which has led to the nickname "Arc de Trump" on social media.
Trump told advisors he'd like to base the arch on the Paris design.
The announcement was made in the East Room during a dinner with donors who are helping with the construction of a 90,000-square-foot ballroom at the White House.
