Albert Lea Football Dominates in Regular Season Finale
Albert Lea football capped off the regular season with a road game in Belle Plaine, winning 54-7.
The Tigers won the coin toss and elected to defer to the second half, but an onside kick gave them the ball near midfield.
Despite a deep loss in the first offensive play, the Tigers extended the drive and scored when Brecken Wacholz punched in an eight-yard run. A made PAT from Isaiah Diaz made the score 7-0 early in the first quarter.
The team cruised to their sixth win of the season, dominating from the beginning.
