Hannah's Heroes: Veteran dedicates life to helping others heal after traumatic events
Kurt Turner has spent his life helping others heal from traumatic events, from the battlefields of Vietnam to emergencies in Belmont County, Ohio.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Turner coordinates the Belmont County Critical Incident Stress Management Team, consisting of trained volunteers providing support to first responders after traumatic events.
"Kurt and his team, they are a great resource for all first responders in the county,”
said Belmont County 911 Director Bryan Minder.
Turner's team answers the call when the silence after a traumatic event can be overwhelming, providing support to those who need it most.
