Chris White Impresses at Bathurst Debut
Chris White, the Rookie winner of the 2024-2025 Bridgestone GR86 Championship, made a notable debut at Bathurst, supporting the Bathurst 1000 event.
White, who earned his drive in the third round of the 2025 Toyota Australia GR Cup, aimed to make steady progress throughout the weekend's practice sessions, qualifying, and three races.
- Despite a huge crash in the first race, which hindered his progress from 26th spot on the grid, White showed significant improvement in the subsequent races.
- In the second race, he moved up to 22nd place.
- In the final race on Sunday, he achieved a solid 14th place finish.
We had set out to find the pace to be in or just outside the top ten within the three races so in the end getting to 14th with only two races was pretty satisfying.
