Carat NSW Leader Harry Jayaweera To Depart
Carat's New South Wales managing director, Hiranthi 'Harry' Jayaweera, is leaving Dentsu at the end of the year, as reported by B&T.
Since joining Carat in 2023, Jayaweera has played a significant role in strengthening the NSW agency during a time of upheaval across the wider Dentsu group.
- Her decision to leave is purely personal, as she is relocating with her family to Brisbane.
- It is not connected to recent leadership departures, such as the restructure that saw Dentsu's former media boss Fiona Johnston made redundant, and creative lead Kirsty Muddle move to Ogilvy.
Dentsu ANZ CEO Rob Harvey said: "Harry has made the decision to relocate with her family to Brisbane and will be finishing up with us at the end of the year."
