'Gen V' Creator Eric Kripke Unpacks Cipher's Big Episode 7 Twist
'Gen V' co-creator and executive producer Eric Kripke discusses the latest plot twist in Episode 7, revealing Dr. Thomas Godolkin's true identity as Cipher.
Dr. Godolkin, played by Ethan Slater, has been disguising himself as Godolkin University dean Cipher, portrayed by Hamish Linklater, throughout the season.
Yep, that burned, fleshy man Cipher has been caring for — and sometimes abusing — is Dr. And training Marie to become strong enough to obtain the power of healing and/or resurrection has been his plan the whole season.
