Junyang's bankruptcy was revealed after his name appeared in a government gazette of bankrupt individuals published in September. He confirmed the news, stating that debt from his Thai street food restaurant chain, The Original Boat Noodles, was the cause.
The debt struggles began during the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to the closure of the restaurant chain. Junyang's wife took to social media to express her gratitude for the support they received.
