A civil complaint has been filed against a Sissonville couple convicted in a historic child abuse, forced labor, and human trafficking case.

The guardian of an adopted child has filed suit against Donald Lantz, 61, and Jeanna Whitefeather, 63, alleging

“severe and outrageous” mistreatment that “went beyond all bounds of decency to be tolerated in a civilized community”
