A second contractor has been appointed to help deliver a multi-million-pound day-case surgery and imaging centre at Harrogate District Hospital.
Main contractor Morgan Sindall Construction started work on the new building in February, but has recently enlisted the help of Pudsey-based G&H.
A team of 60 people, including apprentices, from G&H started its own leg of the work on the building on October 6.
The new facility comes after Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust revealed in 2023 a former therapy services building at Harrogate District Hospital contained RAAC, a crumbly concrete.
The project is part of a £50 million investment into the hospital site, funded by the local NHS trust and NHS England's Target Investment Fund.
