Hoover fellow Dan Wang spoke at a well-attended session facilitated by Stanford Abundance and the Society for International Affairs.

Stanford Abundance co-president Victoria Ren ’26 asked the audience,

“Who here wants to own a house in their lifetime?”
Almost everyone raised their hands.

The session, “America’s Lawyers vs. China’s Engineers,” provided new insights into cultural work ethics and the abundance movement.

According to Stanford Abundance co-president Shreya Mehta ’26,

“Not a ton of people at Stanford are necessarily thinking, I want to build something that is going to help my society,”
highlighting the need for a shift in mindset.
