Apple Discontinues Support for Clips App
Apple has announced that it will no longer provide updates for its Clips app, effectively ending its competition with Snapchat.
The app has been removed from the App Store as of October 10, and new users can no longer download it. However, existing users can continue to use the app, and those who have previously downloaded it can redownload it.
Apple says to save any videos you want to keep as there's no guarantee they'll stick around if the app stops working.
The demise of Clips app is a testament to Snapchat's supremacy in the market, with Instagram Stories still lagging behind.
