Malaysia, as the ASEAN chair this year, is hosting the ASEAN Summit twice, with the first round, the 46th ASEAN Summit, held in Kuala Lumpur in May.
The 47th ASEAN Summit is set to take place from October 26 to 28, and several major roads and highways in and around the capital will be closed in stages during this period.
The New Straits Times reports that rolling and full road closures will be implemented to ensure smooth movement of the convoys.
Traffic diversions will be in place on six highways and major roads.
