A 24-year-old autistic man, Brian Huang, was attacked last month while walking near 1185 The Queensway in Etobicoke. According to his lawyer, David Costa, the incident occurred after a dispute with a man walking his dog.
Costa stated that Huang was hit repeatedly by the older man after saying, "You keep that dog away." The lawyer described the situation as a "misunderstanding" that escalated into a physical altercation.
"There seems to be a misunderstanding," said Costa. "(What) starts the fight is Brian saying, 'You keep that dog away,' and that's when the man launches into him.
The family is seeking witnesses to come forward and contact the police. Author's summary: Autistic man attacked in Etobicoke after dog dispute.
