Family Matters Star Darius McCrary Arrested
Darius McCrary, known for playing Edward "Eddie" Winslow on the hit show "Family Matters", was recently arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol on felony fugitive charges.
According to reports, McCrary was arrested near the U.S.-Mexico border in California and is being held at a jail in San Diego.
McCrary’s rep, Ann Barlow, said a warrant out of Michigan stemmed from a missed court appearance related to his failure to pay child support.
This is not his first run-in with the law. In 2015, McCrary was arrested for failure to pay child support, and he took to social media to express his concerns, posting "All I'm trying to do is raise my son. #BeingDadIsNotAnOption" on Twitter.
