The Avalanche improved to 3-0-1 through the first week of the season after defeating the Buffalo team 3-1 on Monday.
Despite being outplayed early, the Avalanche managed to secure a victory, thanks to the dominant performance of Nathan MacKinnon and Martin Necas.

The Avalanche will have two nights off before taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road on Thursday to close out their road trip.
