Ventura Deputies Arrest Suspect for Peeping and Burglary

Ventura Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Simi Valley man for peeping and burglary of an occupied residence.

On September 22, 2025, Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies responded to a report of an unknown suspect looking through the window of an occupied residence, making partial entry into the residence during the early morning hours.

The East County Investigations Property Crimes Unit launched an investigation, identifying the suspect as Joanky Galvez through various investigative techniques and resources.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Galvez's residence, obtaining additional evidence of the crimes. Galvez remains in custody at the Ventura County Main Jail with a bail set at $100,000.00.

Galvez is scheduled for arraignment on October 9, 2025, at 1:30 pm.
