Cast Announced for Beatles Biopic Films
Aimee Lou Wood, Saoirse Ronan, Mia McKenna-Bruce, and Anna Sawai will star in The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, confirmed by Sony Pictures. The British director Sam Mendes is leading the project, which will detail the lives of the Fab Four. The films are scheduled for release in April 2028.
Portrayal of Key Figures
- Saoirse Ronan (31), known for Lady Bird and The Outrun, will play Linda McCartney, the photographer who met and married Paul McCartney in 1967.
- Aimee Lou Wood (31), famous for Sex Education and The White Lotus, will portray Pattie Boyd, model and George Harrison's wife, who met him in 1964.
- Anna Sawai (33), star of Shogun, will act as Yoko Ono, John Lennon's artistic and lifelong partner.
- Mia McKenna-Bruce (28), known for How To Have Sex, will depict Maureen Starkey, Ringo Starr’s first wife.
