BAFTA winner Mia McKenna-Bruce, four-time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Saoirse Ronan, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Anna Sawai, and Emmy nominee and BAFTA TV winner Aimee Lou Wood are set to star in Sony Pictures' The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event, produced by Sam Mendes and Neal Street.
Maureen Cox, portrayed by McKenna-Bruce, was an early Beatles fan who met Ringo Starr at the Cavern Club in 1962. Their relationship quickly grew, leading to marriage in 1965 and three children.

“The first time I saw her, I just knew.”
John Lennon first encountered Japanese artist Yoko Ono, depicted by Sawai, at a London exhibition of her artwork.
“Maureen, Linda, Yoko and Pattie are four fascinating and unique figures in their own right — and I’m thrilled that we’ve managed to persuade four of the most talented women working in film today to join this amazing adventure,” said Sam Mendes.
This new cinematic event aims to explore the lives of these remarkable women connected to the legendary band.
