Marcelo Bielsa Makes Decision on Captaincy for Uruguay
Marcelo Bielsa has made a decision on his captain for Uruguay's friendly against Uzbekistan, involving Celtic's Marcelo Saracchi.
Saracchi was called up to the Uruguay squad for the first time since March 2025 and was named captain for the game against the Dominican Republic.
Despite being included in the starting XI against Uzbekistan, Saracchi won't lead the team, with Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Santiago Bueno taking the armband.
