Rapper Young Bleed Dead at 51 After Brain Aneurysm

Rapper Young Bleed, born Glenn Clifton Jr., passed away at 51 following complications from a brain aneurysm. He died on Saturday after spending several days in the ICU on a ventilator, according to TMZ.

Tameka Long, mother of his 10-year-old son, told reporters that the aneurysm was caused by internal bleeding. Young Bleed had been hospitalized only days before his passing.

His son, Ty'Gee Ramon, confirmed the sad news in an emotional Instagram video, reflecting on his father’s legacy in hip-hop and revealing that he "gained his wings" on November 1.

"As of November 1st, my dad gained his wings. This is a tough topic for me — not sure how it's gonna go. But I am here to clear up a lot of false narratives."

Ramon mentioned that his father had no major health problems recently, aside from high blood pressure for which he was taking medication.

Young Bleed was best known for the hit single How Ya Do That, featured on the 1997 soundtrack of the film I'm Bout It.
