At the core of The Line in Saudi Arabia, a suspended stadium powered entirely by renewable energy is planned. Named Neom Stadium, it will be one of fifteen venues hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
Recently, videos and renderings have circulated on social media showing a stadium perched atop a futuristic skyscraper, suspended above a desert megacity with illuminated highways. These images depict an arena called Neom Stadium, linked to the Saudi city north of the Red Sea and east of Egypt, planned as part of the World Cup infrastructure.
However, these visuals do not reflect the official designs. Despite this, the project outlined in the Saudi Arabia FIFA World Cup 2034 Bid Book remains highly innovative and ambitious.
