Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin, in partnership with the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and the Wisconsin Newspaper Association, is organizing a webinar dedicated to responsible media coverage of crime victims.
The discussion will be moderated by Nela Kalpic, State Director for Marsy’s Law Wisconsin.
The event will explore best practices recommended by the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC) for ethical reporting that respects victims' privacy and dignity.
The webinar will also highlight Wisconsin’s Marsy’s Law, a constitutional amendment guaranteeing crime victims rights such as privacy, notification, and involvement in the justice process.
