The Philadelphia Flyers (1-2-1) hosted the Winnipeg Jets (3-1-0) at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday, following their home opener win against the Florida Panthers on Monday night.
The Flyers have a 1-1 record against the Jets from last season. Before the game, defenseman Cam York was activated from injured reserve, and Emil Andrae was sent to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Samuel Ersson started in goal, his second game of the season, after Dan Vladar's strong performance against the Panthers.
