Simulated cyberattack, national security highlight inaugural CyberBay conference

CyberBay Conference Highlights National Security and Cybersecurity

Over 1,000 attendees gathered at the inaugural CyberBay conference to explore Tampa Bay's emergence as a hub for cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and national security.

The FBI estimates a nationwide shortage of 700,000 unfilled cybersecurity jobs, leaving companies and agencies vulnerable to attack. To illustrate this risk, performers simulated a cyberattack through dance and motion.

The greatest challenge is that it's difficult to visualize the risk of cyberattacks.

The conference aimed to address this challenge and highlight the importance of cybersecurity and national security.
