Big Brother Australia returns to its original format with 13 diverse contestants competing at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. This season features live nominations, evictions, and a 24-hour livestream.
On Sunday night, host Mel Tracina presented 12 vibrant and unique housemates set to entertain viewers this season. She also revealed a twist — the public will vote to add one final contestant to the house.
Jane, a 67-year-old retiree, was the first housemate voted in, potentially becoming the oldest contestant in Australian Big Brother history.
“I’m a grandmother but not your average grandmother. My suitcase has no tracksuits, it’s all sparkle, heels, bikinis. I’m going to talk some shit, I’m going to tell some lies,” she shares. “And now I’m single, you better watch out!”
Colin, 21, from Wollongong, NSW, describes himself as a cheerful mama’s boy with a mission to win Big Brother and take his mum to Egypt.
He calls himself a “big conspiracy head.”
The season’s final participant will be chosen by viewer votes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the competition.
