The FIFA World Cup will be held in Canada next year, featuring cities such as Toronto and Vancouver among 16 North American host locations. To celebrate, Canada Soccer announced a new program showcasing the country’s top musical talents through a special album.
The album, named Perfect Pitch, brings together notable Canadian artists including Alessia Cara, Charlotte Cardin, Loud Luxury, Nelly Furtado, The Tragically Hip, and Zeds Dead. They are all working under the direction of Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da.
“The energy around this project has been incredible. It’s inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we’re creating isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural statement. The music represents every corner of the country, and I’m proud of how collaborative and inclusive the process has been,” said Boi-1da.
The upcoming album will include original songs, reimagined tracks, and unique collaborations from celebrated Canadian musicians. It is scheduled for release ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will begin next June across North America.
