David Auburn’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning play Proof is now available for tickets. The revival stars Ayo Edebiri, Don Cheadle, Samira Wiley, and Jin Ha, and will be performed at the Booth Theatre starting March 31, 2026.
The show is directed by Tony Award winner Thomas Kail and will officially open on April 16, 2026. This revival includes original music by Kris Bowers and features:

Proof tells the story of Catherine (played by Edebiri), the brilliant yet unsettled daughter of celebrated mathematics professor Robert (played by Cheadle). After Robert’s death, a notebook containing a groundbreaking mathematical proof is found, sparking controversy over who really authored it. Catherine faces pressure to prove her own identity while confronting her father's legacy.
Proof originally premiered off-Broadway at the Manhattan Theatre Club in 2000. It later transferred to Broadway, where it earned six Tony Award nominations and won three, including Best Play. It also received the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
