Jetstar (JQ) will start direct flights from Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) to Bali’s Denpasar Airport (DPS) beginning 25 March 2026. The service, operating three times weekly on Airbus A321LR planes, will offer fares from $199 and convenient onward connections to Singapore (SIN) via Denpasar.
The new route offers Sunshine Coast travelers easy access to Bali’s beaches and cultural sites without layovers, strengthening Jetstar’s position as the largest airline in South-East Queensland.
Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully said the launch is “an easy international getaway” and a milestone that adds convenience and affordability, supporting the airline’s network growth to meet rising demand for low-cost travel.
From March 2026, Jetstar’s new direct Sunshine Coast to Bali flights will provide affordable, convenient travel options, enhancing connectivity in the region and reducing the need to travel via Brisbane.
