Special Weather Statement for Ottawa

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa anticipating accumulating snow on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Snowfall is expected to start Sunday morning and continue into the night, with amounts between 5 to 15 cm. Snowfall warnings may be issued as conditions develop.
Motorists should prepare for challenging winter driving conditions and consider adjusting travel plans. Poor weather could cause delays in transportation.
Students, faculty, and staff are advised to monitor the Current Students weather page for the latest updates. The university will remain open with normal operations. Everyone is urged to travel carefully to and on campus.
