Three Cats Selected in the AFLW All-Australian Squad
Three standout Geelong players have been named in the initial 2025 AFLW All-Australian squad, recognising their outstanding performances during the season. The selected players are Georgie Prespakis, Aishling Moloney, and Mikayla Bowen.
Georgie Prespakis’ Continued Dominance
For the third time in the past four seasons, Georgie Prespakis has earned a place in the preliminary All-Australian lineup. She is aiming for her second All-Australian blazer after first achieving the honour in 2022 (S7). The star midfielder finished among the AFLW’s top five players for total disposals, inside 50s, contested possessions, and clearances.

Mikayla Bowen’s Breakout Year
Mikayla Bowen enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Hoops, earning her second selection in the All-Australian squad and striving for her first blazer. Demonstrating her versatility, she posted career-best numbers in disposals, tackles, contested possessions, and score involvements, and even contributed six goals across the season.
Aishling Moloney’s Second Straight Selection
Aishling Moloney has made the All-Australian squad for the second year running, building on another stellar year as one of the competition’s leading forwards.
