Sacramento Kings forward and center Maxime Raynaud spoke to reporters on Friday evening after a heavy 132–101 home defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Raynaud reflected on the team’s defensive lapses and how they contributed to the loss. He also commented on Isaiah Hartenstein’s impressive career performance, during which Hartenstein recorded 33 points and 19 rebounds.
Raynaud said the team needs to maintain focus and energy on defense throughout the entire game to avoid similar breakdowns.
In addition, Raynaud discussed his ongoing adaptation to the pace and physicality of NBA play, noting that each game helps him better understand the league’s demands and his responsibilities on the court.
