English actress Aimee Lou Wood recently revealed she experienced panic attacks while filming the upcoming comedy movie Anxious People. During an intense scene, multiple crew members shouted at her simultaneously, triggering her anxiety.
Diagnosed with ADHD, Aimee recalled how Angelina Jolie supported her in this difficult moment on set. She said all she could “see was Angelina giving me a thumbs up.” Since Aimee was unable to advocate for herself then, Angelina stood up on her behalf.
“She's possibly the most famous woman ever, but she’s so normal.”
The 31-year-old actress praised Jolie’s down-to-earth nature, adding, “I’m fairly certain she drives herself to set each day,” in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
After years of struggling to speak up, Aimee has now found her voice. She also revealed her ongoing battle with body dysmorphia. The actress is known for her role as Chelsea in the third season of the Emmy-nominated HBO series The White Lotus, which included filming bikini scenes.
Aimee Lou Wood opened up about panic attacks during filming, praised Angelina Jolie’s support, and shared her journey with ADHD and body dysmorphia.
