Rapper Young Bleed passed away at the age of 51, as confirmed by his eldest son, Ty’Gee Ramon Clifton.
Clifton shared the news on Instagram, writing:
“Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Young bleed! Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u.”
He added, “I’m glad he went out in style!” accompanied by broken heart and fire emojis, and said, “One time fa the one time.”
The rapper, known for hits like “How Ya Do Dat” and “If I Could Change,” suffered a brain aneurysm following a spike in blood pressure.
Clifton aimed to correct misinformation about his father's death, including confusion around his father's age and health condition.
“Although Young Bleed didn’t have any ‘real health issues,’ his blood pressure spiked during the afterparty,” Clifton explained.
Young Bleed’s family plans to carry on his legacy, with his son pledging to “carry the torch” in his memory.
Young Bleed’s sudden passing highlights the fragile nature of health even for those without prior conditions.
