Former football star Alex Scott is rumoured to be joining the line-up for this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, heading Down Under for the show.
Alex Scott, 41, made her name as a distinguished England international footballer, playing for clubs like Arsenal, Birmingham City, and teams in the United States. She earned 140 caps for England and represented Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics. After retiring from playing, she transitioned into a successful TV presenting career, including punditry roles on Match of the Day and work with the BBC.
Off camera, Alex’s personal experiences have also made headlines. She reportedly had a less-than-perfect date with Coronation Street actor Sam Robertson in 2020. The pair shared a candlelit dinner in a fancy Soho restaurant in London, but the evening didn’t go smoothly.
“I never seem to have a lot of luck on dates,” Alex said. “My one date in ages was going out with Sam [Robertson], who is lovely.”
She shared with The Sun's Fabulous magazine that the morning after their date, “our pictures were all over the press because someone in the restaurant had taken a photo.”
Alex Scott is preparing for a new challenge on I'm A Celebrity, building on her notable sporting and broadcasting career while navigating life in the spotlight.
