The Jennifer Lawrence episode of Las Culturistas was full of surprising revelations. She shared that she and Emma Stone are producing a Miss Piggy movie and mentioned that she didn’t require an intimacy coordinator with Robert Pattinson because he’s “not pervy.” Lawrence also expressed regret about not getting Botox before filming No Hard Feelings. Additionally, she made an unusual comparison between the Boleyn sisters and Ashlee and Jessica Simpson.
With Bowen Yang co-hosting the podcast, there was some discussion about Saturday Night Live. Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang revealed a clever response a former SNL writer, Sudi Green, came up with for waiters and strangers who pitch SNL sketch ideas persistently:
“Even if we did take your idea, it would be a huge legal problem because the waiter could sue us later.”
This line tends to stop them immediately.
Lawrence admitted that when she met Mark Ronson, she couldn’t resist performing a song she wrote about a street sweeper, singing it to him on the spot. She said,
“I don’t know what I was expecting, but he was just like, ‘Nice to meet you.’”
When asked about her own experience hosting SNL in 2013 at age 22, Lawrence was candid about her feelings:
“No, I wasn’t [great].”
Bowen Yang, however, reassured her that she was great during that episode.
