During the Rivalry Series game broadcast between the Canadian and American women’s national teams on Thursday, the Milano Cortina 2026 jersey design was unveiled, adding excitement to the upcoming Olympic hockey tournaments.
With only three months left until the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, Canadian hockey fans are growing eager for the puck drop. Notably, this edition marks the return of NHL players to the Olympic ice for the first time since Sochi 2014.
Except for Crosby, who famously represented Canada at Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014, the other five players will be making their Olympic debut. The full roster will be announced in early January.
Team Canada’s women’s team has never missed an Olympic podium since women’s hockey was introduced at Nagano 1998. They enter Milano Cortina 2026 as the reigning Olympic champions.
Marie-Philip Poulin became the first player—male or female—to score in four Olympic gold medal games during Beijing 2022.
The women’s roster will also be revealed in January.
The unveiling of Team Canada’s Milano Cortina 2026 hockey jersey heightens anticipation for the Olympics, where both men’s and women’s teams aim to continue their legacy of excellence on the ice.
