During the first of a series of Australian shows, Oasis faced a disturbing incident at their sold-out October 31st concert at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium. A flare was launched into the crowd as the band closed the night with “Champagne Supernova.”
Brad Bultman, attending the show, initially thought the flare was part of the performance’s pyrotechnics. He described the moment:
“Then very quickly I saw it explode and expand a bit further, and then somebody actually pick up the live flair and toss it back in the air and created more fire and smoke in a different area. I was like, ‘Oh geez’ — you hope nobody gets hurt.”
Gallagher first reacted during the concert by telling the crowd, “naughty, naughty, naughty.” Later, he expressed his anger more strongly on X/Twitter, addressing the person responsible with harsh words:
“To the massive CUNT who launched that flare into the crowd last night at the gig in Melbourne you are 1 seriously fucked up individual and you will get yours trust me.”
The flare incident at Melbourne's concert sparked concern and harsh condemnation from Liam Gallagher, highlighting the dangers of reckless behavior at live events.
