A well-known singer-songwriter was banned from a Gold's Gym in Los Angeles following a heated argument with a transgender woman over the use of the women's locker room.
Tish Hyman, 42, a singer-songwriter from the Bronx, New York, revealed her gym membership was canceled after she recorded a confrontation with the trans woman in question. The incident occurred after Hyman saw the transgender member in the women's changing area.
“Now he knows how to be a man, right? Stay outta the women’s locker room! We don’t want it,” Hyman said in the video. “He needs to have his gym membership revoked for that s**t!”
Hyman mentioned she and other women had filed previous complaints about Black's use of the women's locker room.
“You can’t get rid of me for this! I’m a woman and I have every right not to want a man in the rest room when I’m naked! There are girls naked in there!” Hyman asserted.
The gym decided to terminate access for both Hyman and Black after the altercation sparked tensions over changeroom access policies.
