Queensland Forecast

Eastern Queensland will experience milder than average temperatures, while inland areas will feel cooler than usual. Coastal regions should remain mostly settled, with occasional showers along the north-east tropical coast. Showers and storms linked to a low-pressure trough will move in from the west, affecting the far north-west, central, and southern inland parts.

Severe storms could impact parts of the southern Darling Downs and Granite Belt, with moderate rainfall expected in the southern inland and far north-west regions. These storms might reach the south-east coast late Saturday evening or during the night into Sunday morning.

In Brisbane, expect a few showers with a maximum temperature around 31°C.

New South Wales Forecast

A cold front will pass through central and eastern New South Wales, bringing a strong southerly wind change. Most eastern areas will experience widespread showers and thunderstorms, especially along the north-east and east central coast.
